This 5 Minute Post

A few things come to mind…Random…I know. Literally winging this post with any thought that comes to mind…let’s see how it goes…Remember, I’m a Dork and think I’m Hul-ar-ious! It’s ok if you don’t think I’m funny, I got enough giggles to make up the difference… J

First…don’t you wish Blogs had a “Like” button? You know how us Facebookers are…this way when folks leave comments or replies, we can “LIKE” as a way of saying Thanks! Just a thought.
Are you the kind of person to get in an elevator and say hello? Oh yeah…that’s me…I’m the “Hello Queen”...Tiara and all.
Do you ever see people in public and ask yourself, “What were they thinking?” And then look at yourself and say, “What was I thinking?” This way, it’s not as judgmental…and you know better for next time.
I love giving compliments. I like the idea of making others feel good and leaving them with a smile…know why? When I think about those who say nice things to me…it leaves an impression…I remember things like that. I like to think I’ll be remembered as a nice person…and darn it! It feels good to make others smile! Although, sometimes I think people can take peoples niceness the wrong way…I don’t wanna be creepy! Ha ha…
Lastly…It is just me…Or do you find it a little, ok a LOT gross when you’re in a public restroom and the ladies answer their cell phone while taking care of “business?” I noticed this the other day…it’s one of my “ick factors” so if you do this, don’t be ill with me…just saying.
I hope you stuck around till the end…Just so you know…this post literally took…5 minutes! Presto! Cause Blogging ain’t always easy…and can be a little cheesy…”Like” Me. Get it?
Be Good to You!
Smooches,
Lola

  2. Plus, how do you set up the sentence above (whilst I'm writing this comment) - it says 'Hello! I love messages...' I'd love to know, thank you!

Also, (sorry, ha!) how do you set up the 'reply' button and the reactions button too. Thank you so much if you could reply to both messages! If you do reply, leave the instuctions on how to do it all on my blog - its the easiest way of me seeing it - thanks, again!

  3. Couldn't agree more! There should be some kind of petition or something to get a like button! Or maybe blogger will catch on soon and add one :)

  4. Lol this made me laugh. A like button would be awesome!! Not everyone wants to take the time to leave a comment. The bathroom thing gets me everytime too. What's worse is the women you see leaving their stall and walking right out without washing their hands. That to me is just super disgusting! They're the reason I won't touch any condiment bottles in restaurants and sanitize my hands every few minutes.

    1. More like UBER disgusting...I'm a hand washer through and through...I see it all the time. In fact just the OTHER day a woman walked right out without washing her hands in the Target...I keep wipes in the car too, so handy.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Lola, you're so awesome! I'm so glad I met you through the blog world. I'm thankful for people like you. It would be great to have a "like" button. I hope they'll come up with one. I also know what you mean about people being in the restroom and having conversations while they're in the lu. My hubby does this to me all the time. I can sometimes hear the flushing in the background. lol Happy Wednesday!

  6. A "Like" button does exist! It's a new add-on for you blog template. There are two versions of it. The G+ button and the Google+ Circles button. I placed both on my blogs:
    deezfascinatingworld.blogspot.com
    deezlilypad.blogspot.com

By the way - Brilliant Post. Enjoyed every word!

  8. Lola your comments made my day :]

You have such a fun personality and it shows in your writing! A 5 minute post is impressive and sometimes I feel like I say the best things when I just let my fingers type and turn off my brain for a moment.

I laughed when I read how you are the one who says "hello" on the elevator. I'm the same way and it's funny to me how many people seem so uncomfortable with even making eye contact on that short ride.

Your post brightened my day :] Thanks for sharing!
