At any rate...I've been thinking...thinking I may retire my blogsite...Right now I am going through so many changes in my life I fear I may not be inspired to blog...Now, now, I am not fishing for, "Oh No!" or "Please Don't"...because as most of you know, blogging ain't easy...it takes time, inspiration, dedication...and right now...I feel like I want to sit back and enjoy all of your efforts with your work on your blogs...

Letting Go...

I've been slacking on my Sunday Personal posts...mainly due to time and inspiration to write. I thought today I would share about being a Mother...
For those of you who are, who are not, are new, or thinking about being a Mother...This post shares..."If I knew then"

I am a young Mother. I have two kids. One boy. One Girl. Both grown. Son, 19, Daughter, soon to be 18, as she reminds me..

Oh the days of diapering...changing, dressing, washing...The days of teaching, growing, loving...or loving, teaching, growing...As babies they depend on You as if you are their very breath, and You are...as toddlers, they depend on our security to keep them safe. As they grow, they listen, they watch, they learn. Life is simplified...the joys of being a kid. Friends, hopscotch, bike rides...baseball...Summer's in the park...Then comes "Rebellion" TEENAGERS! Who knew? I've always said that...everything taught at home, can be easily undone by the influence of their friends...because as Mother's, what do we know anyway? We know love, teaching, growing and letting them make mistakes...Just as do we.

All these years being a Mother...I never knew heartache...The heartache of letting go. I'm not afraid to admit, and totally guilty of being a "Helicopter Mom" I'm a "swooper" I'm a "Pitcher" and a "Catcher" in the game of Motherhood. I wasn't prepared for letting go...My son moved out in January of this year...And now...my daughter is set to move out in a few months.

I miss him everyday...I'll miss her everyday...letting go is the hardest part.
I pause...I get up because my phone just chimed that I got a text...it's from my son...He tells me to have a good day and he loves me...Ahh...the joys of being a Mother...and letting go.

Even though I struggle...with letting go...it's these moments that remind me...It was worth every painstaking moment...No one ever told me the hardest part was letting go...

One Piece at a Time...One breath at a time...Nuturing, loving, growing...and it's me I'm talking about...A Mother.

Lingering Thoughts...

My fingers rest on this keyboard…Contemplating my direction…lingering thoughts…that fill my mind…What’s a girl to do? I ask this very question. What’s the answer? Maybe what I should be asking is…What is holding me back? And the answer is…Me.

 The feeling of being stuck…I imagine a road…a road that leads to…Somewhere, but where? Who am I?

The answer…

I am a lover and a fighter…I am a vision…inspiration…devotion and dedication…I am a Mother…Always and forever.

I am who I thought everyone wanted me to be…A Mother. A Wife. A Friend… As for Me being Me…I am Passion…longing…This is the word that best describes Me. Passion and ever so Passionate…The feeling is exuberating. Like warm Apple Pie…The sweet taste.

Expression…how does one express? By living…living a Passionate life. Loving the life You live…Taking chances…Risk. Traveling into the unknown…letting the “What if’s” fall away…Fear…it cripples. It robs You of Your Passion…Feel the Fear and do it anyway…Easier said than done…Control. To be in total control…Of what? You.

I take a deep breath…Again I ask…Who am I?

Soon…One day at a time…One Piece at a Time…After all, time is on our side, and yet we are not promised tomorrow…What are we (Me) waiting for?

I take responsibility…I will not point the finger…I will not play the blame game…I will…I will…and I can. This life is good.

1. I don't eat fast food. Would you believe me if I told you I haven't had McDonald's french-fries in over 5 years? At least.

2. I love all things Boudoir. And would love to be a Boudoir photographer...the body is a beautiful thing.

3. I love music, who doesn't? But love me some BIG BAND music. So fun and cheery. I'm sure you might know this from past posts...But Frank, Dean, and Ella are some of my all time faves!

4. I can touch my tongue to my nose...kinda cool and gross at the same time?

5. Currently watching all 11 seasons of Frasier on Netflix...right now I am in season 10...Can't wait to see how it ends.

6. I'm overly neat. I'm the type to fluff the pillows before leaving the house...and don't think I'm the only one who does this...

7. My all time favorite movie is...Home Alone. I can watch this movie anytime of year...

I had a wonderful weekend. The emotions...were heavenly. I'm so proud. The day started with my best girl and I relaxing at home...Caught a little sun...and before we knew it...it was time to go! The gym for graduation housed around 2500 people...and it was stinkin' hot! But bittersweet. Can honestly say this is a moment I'll cherish forever...as will He.

Just a Preview...

Where does the time go? The weekend was busy! Which means I didn't get to do my Sunday Post...will try tomorrow...for now here is a preview from Graduation.

This of course is my son...My Bo. And I am concentrating VERY hard to master the art of tieing a Bowtie...in which I was successful! Yeah! So Handsome...

It's that Time...

Graduation....

My son graduates today...I'm looking forward to letting my hair down and getting all dressed up. I have a busy day ahead of me and hope to find some time to catch a little sun before the big event...I love the feel of the warm air, so relaxing...

Harry Situation...

I'm curious...Question of the day...

For those of you who have long hair...how often do you wear it up? Or want to go short?

For those of you with short hair...do you ever wish you had long hair?

Hair, Hair, Hair...it's everywhere...I have long hair...at least 5 out of 7 days I keep it in a P-tail. I've been growing it out for two years after wearing it short for over 5.

So...what's your take? Do you like it long? Wish it was long? Wanna go short? Wish it was straight? Curly? Change the color? What's your hair situation...if any.

I wanna know...

Sunday Personals Pt. 9

Sunday Sunday...Don't know that I have a great story to share with you all today...or should I say this late night seeing how it's 11 in the PM for me...

I can't. Not today. Today, was much like the sea...after a storm...as the waves they crash in and out. The tides, the wind...they blow and wash away the footprints in the sand...Some days wishing they could wash away...something...but what?

I am a simple person...I have a big heart. I love to love. I try. I try to understand...The why? And all I have is...faith. And hope, or use too...hope for something...but what?

Oh yeah, I know...pity pity pity. Pity on me. Maybe I'm feeling sorry for myself...or longing for that beach...to wash away the footprints and I'm left with...Me. Wonderful Me.
Emotions are a fickle thing. They trick us. Protect us. Alert us. Guide us...Powerful and in emotions lies our story...Not today. Not "One Piece" will do me today...
